Don’t Understand – Trust God
I sit in Northport, Alabama instead of Northwest Haiti. Why? I do not know or understand. I have had people say, “It was an answer to prayer of protection”. That is possible. I have had people say, “Timing must not be right.”. That could be possible. God was protecting you from a plane crash. I had that thought a time or two. Or could it be that the airline who did not have their own de-icing truck mismanaged the whole thing. Should I have seen the weather coming and left earlier? If God did not want me there then why did He have me sit in a plane on the Tarmac for 3 hours? Why did I have to pay $60 for them to carry my luggage no where? Some people seem to be clear why I am here instead of there but I am not. So, I have to trust God because He is trustworthy.
If you don’t understand something, trust God.

Books I’m Reading
I believe that you made a difference because you wanted to go and tried to go! For whatever reason, you didn’t go, you may never find out this side of Heaven. You and Luke encourage me on a daily basis because you care and have compassion and you are making the world a better place with your faith and determination to make a difference. Don’t ever think that it was a failure, because it wasn’t. Who knows what God has in mind for the next trip and who might go now because this happened. His ways are HIGHER!
